ORGANIZATION STATEMENT
YOUNG AUDIENCES is committed to keeping the arts at the core of learning. The arts cultivate the whole child: mind, heart and body. Young Audiences connects professional teaching artists with classroom teachers, and together they use the arts to make learning come alive for their students.

Our teaching artists are passionate about teaching and about art-making. They are puppeteers, dancers, musicians, performance poets, clowns, visual artists, actors, and storytellers, working from a wide variety of cultures. Year round, Young Audiences offers many opportunities for professional development so that our artists can continually reflect upon and grow their teaching practices. In their profiles on this website, our artists describe the myriad possibilities of how they can work with you to integrate more arts experiences into your classroom.
